Compatible with CS5532, GX5532 for high-precision temperature measurement system design

With the increasing degree of electrification and automation in the industrial production and control process, real-time measurement of temperature in the production process becomes more and more important, especially in some of the more stringent temperature requirements of the application, the need for accurate measurement of small changes in temperature. This paper introduces a high-precision ADC GX5532 to realize temperature measurement, GX5532 has high integration and strong anti-interference ability, suitable for high-precision temperature measurement in special environment, which can be applied to temperature measurement in industrial field, production process and other fields.

The design of the measurement system is based on the use of constant current source of platinum resistance bridge temperature measurement circuit to detect the site temperature, the temperature signal is converted to a voltage signal, the voltage signal after filtering and amplification, by the high-performance ADC will be the input analog signal into a digital signal, and finally the signal is sent to the microcontroller.
The program GX5532 is a low-noise, low-drift, high-resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC), GX5532 integrated programmable gain amplifier (PGA), integrated a low-drift 2.5V reference voltage source, can be for the bridge sensor can be achieved accurate measurement. The output data rate can be configured to selectable data rates: 1.875 to 3840 SPS. A bipolar ±2.375V to ±2.625V analog supply can be used, or a single 4.75V to 5.25V analog supply can be used.GX5532 RMS noise: 16nV at 7.5SPS (gain=64); noiseless bit at 22.37.5SPS (gain=1). The GX5532 ADC is fully compatible with the CS5532 in both hardware and software, which means that when replacing the CS5532 chip on an existing board, the chip simply needs to be swapped out without modifying the MCU code. So GX5532 is an ideal replacement choice for CS5532 solution to improve the performance of the system without changing the existing system architecture and code.
