Seismic exploration is a common method for geophysical research and energy exploration, the principle of which is to utilize the seismic wave excited by the way of artificial source to propagate the law within the elasticity of different strata to explore the geological situation underground.
By recording and analyzing the data characteristics through the node equipment, the depth and morphology of these interfaces can be determined more accurately, and the lithology of the strata can be judged, which is the main physical exploration method for exploring oil and gas-bearing formations or even finding oil directly. This paper mainly introduces the AFE application program based on GX1283/GX1284 geophysical exploration.

The GX1283/GX1284 is a 32-bit ultra-high resolution sigma-delta type analog-to-digital converter, which internally contains a dual-channel multiplexer, a low-noise programmable gain amplifier, a multistage modulator, and a combination of digital filters. The maximum sampling rate is 4kSPS and it supports 2-channel differential inputs.
The features of the chip are as follows:
- Interface: SPI
- Programmable Differential Amplifier (PGA): 1~64x voltage amplification
- Digital power supply: 3.3V or 1.8V
- Digital power supply: 3.3V or 1.8V Analog power supply: 5V or ±2.5V
- Package: 5mm x 4mm VQFN (24-pin 0.5mm pitch)
- Rated operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C
- Maximum operating temperature range: -50°C to +125°C
- Application areas: energy exploration, building safety, earth science research, seismic monitoring, high-precision instruments
