GXSC Dual-channel 12-bit DAC GX7547 (Replaces AD7547) Automatic Test Equipment Application Program

Time:2025-04-11 Views:145
Automatic test equipment is a system that can automatically measure and process data and display or output test results. Compared with manual testing, automatic testing saves time and effort, and can improve labor productivity and product quality. It is widely used in communication, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, smart home, semiconductor, power module, medical electronics, aerospace and other fields.

Automatic test equipment in the test, through the simulation of the actual working environment for the product under test signal excitation, and then collect the resulting electrical signals. The equipment usually requires a high-performance DAC to provide a stable and accurate excitation source for the device under test. GXSC‘s dual-channel, 12-bit DAC GX7547 is ideally suited for this application. The GX7547‘s performance can be compatible with the AD7547, enabling it to be a direct replacement in the program and reducing material costs.
The GX7547 integrates two 12-bit DACs so that both signals under test can be processed and controlled at the same time. The chip is equipped with level shifters, data registers and a logic control interface to the microprocessor. 12 data inputs are available. There are a total of 12 data inputs. the CSA, CSB, and WR interfaces control DAC selection and loading. The CSA, CSB, and WR interfaces control DAC selection and loading, and data is latched into the DAC registers on rise. The GX7547 is compatible with most microprocessors in terms of computing speed and accepts TTL, 74HC, and 5V CMOS logic level inputs.

The GX7547 uses four-quadrant multiplication as the computation method and is configured with separate reference inputs and feedback resistors. The monolithic structure ensures that the thermal and gain error traces perform well. The two DACs are guaranteed to operate within a reasonable temperature range.

GX7547 key features:
- Chip integrates two 12-bit DACs
- DAC gradient impedance matching of 0.5%
- Four-quadrant multiplication calculation
- Low gain error
- High-speed interface timing - Adopting SOIC-24 package

Summary: Some features of GX7547 are very suitable for automatic test equipment, the chip can process and control two signals at the same time, which can save space; using four-quadrant multiplication calculation, configured with separate reference inputs and feedback resistors, which can flexibly realize the signal processing function.
