3-channel 16-bit ADC GX7792 applied to 6-bit digital voltmeter (DVM) to replace the AD7792 solution

Time:2025-04-03 Views:234
In the measurement of electricity, voltage, current and frequency are the most basic three measured, of which the measurement of voltage quantities most often, and with the development of electronic technology, often need to measure the voltage of high precision. The use of microcontroller digital voltmeter, its high precision, anti-interference ability, scalability, easy integration, but also with the PC for real-time communication and other advantages. At present, the digital voltmeter constituted by various single-chip A/D converters has been widely used in the field of intelligent measurement such as electronic and electrotechnical measurement, industrial automation instrumentation, automatic test system and so on.
The 6-bit digital voltmeter generally has high accuracy and resolution, and can provide reliable data support for complex and precise measurement tasks. 3-channel 16-bit ADC GX7792 against AD7792, applied to 6-bit digital voltmeter, can be used to improve the measurement accuracy, reduce power consumption and enhance the stability of the system and other aspects of the significant results, to meet the different industries of high-precision voltage measurement of the stringent needs. The GX7792 is an ideal solution for high-precision voltage measurements in a variety of industries.
The GX7792 is a low-power, low-noise 16-bit sigma-delta ADC for high-precision measurement applications (e.g., digital voltmeters), with three differential analog inputs and an on-chip, low-noise instrumentation amplifier for direct small-signal input. The output data rate can be programmed by software to vary from 4.17 Hz to 940 Hz.
