Diversity radio system is a technique to improve the performance of a communication system by utilizing multiple independent signal paths. Diversity radio systems need to process signals from multiple channels in order to perform functions such as diversity merging, etc. The GX9269, as a dual-channel analog-to-digital converter, has a high sampling rate (up to 80 MSPS) and a high precision resolution of 16 bits. This enables it to perform high-speed, accurate sampling and digital conversion of analog signals from each diversity branch to provide high-quality digital signals for subsequent signal processing.

The GX9269 is a single-chip, dual-channel, 16-bit, 80MSPS analog-to-digital converter with 1.8V power supply for AVDD and 1.8V or 3.3V power supply for DRVDD, and built-in high-performance sample-and-hold circuits and on-chip reference voltage source. The main features of the chip are as follows:
1, GX9269 adopts multi-stage differential pipeline architecture with built-in output error correction logic, which provides 16-bit precision at 80MSPS data rate and guarantees no loss of code in the entire operating temperature range.
2, GX9269 built-in a variety of functional features that allow the device to achieve optimal flexibility, the lowest system cost, such as generating programmable digital test code. Available digital test codes include built-in fixed and pseudo-random codes, as well as user-defined test codes entered through the serial port interface (SPI).
The GX9269 uses a differential clock input to control all internal conversion cycles. The digital output data format is offset binary, Gray code, or binary complement. Each ADC channel has a Data Output Clock (DCO) to ensure that the receive logic has the correct latch timing.
4, GX9269 support 1.8V/3.3V CMOS output, output data can be multiplexed on a single output bus.
5, GX9269 support low power consumption: 294mW (80MSPS), using RoHS-compliant 64-pin QFN package.
