Intelligent flow transmitter integrates temperature, pressure, flow sensor and intelligent flow totalizer into a new generation of high-precision, high-reliability precision measuring instruments, the analog signals detected by the device (e.g., pressure, temperature and other physical quantities related to flow) are converted by the ADC into digital signals, which can be processed, calculated and transmitted. It is characterized by wide flow range, good repeatability, high accuracy and small pressure loss.
In the intelligent flow transmitter design program, the recommended use of low-power, low-noise, highly integrated ADC GX1220, the GX1220 internal PGA, VREF, SPI and two IDAC 24-bit 3.7kSPS six-channel low-power Δ - Σ ADC. and can be 100% compatible with the replacement of TI‘s ADS1220, GX1220 in the price of some advantage. The GX1220 offers the same excellent performance at a competitive price.

The GX1220 is capable of performing conversions at data rates up to 3710 SPS. Digital filters provide 50Hz or 60Hz rejection for noisy industrial applications at ≤20 SPS, making the analog-to-digital converter ideally suited for applications that measure the signals of small sensors, such as Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), thermocouples, thermistors, and resistive bridge sensors.
The GX1220 features are described as follows:
- Wide supply range: 2.7V to 5.25V
- Programmable gain: 1V/V to 128V/V
- Programmable data rate: up to 3.7kSPS
- 50Hz or 60Hz at < 20SPS rejection, single cycle settling digital filter
- Three differential or five single-ended inputs
- Internal bias voltage generator dual matched programmable current source: 10uα-1.5mα
- Internal 2.048V reference voltage: 8ppm/°C (typical) drift - Internal 2% precision oscillator
- SPI-compatible interface
- Packages: TSSOP and QFN
