Semiconductor lasers need to detect the temperature sensor to control the temperature of the product, and the temperature sensor output signal is generally a small analog signal, usually need to use operational amplifiers to amplify the analog signal to a certain value, and then after the ADC, in order to be processed by the main control chip. In this paper, we recommend GXSC GX7822 for design, the device is compatible with ADI‘s AD7822, very easy to replace.

GX7822 application advantages:
1.GX7822 is an 8-bit semi-fast type (half-flash) ADC, the maximum throughput of 2MSPS, to fully meet the semiconductor laser sampling accuracy and rate requirements;
2. Built-in a 2.5V (2% tolerance) on-chip reference voltage source, which can save the cost of development;
3. Provide the highest 10MHz input frequency when the signal-to-noise ratio performance, good anti-noise performance, high sampling quality;
4. On-chip reference voltage source (2.5V), a wider operating voltage range of 3V ± 10% and 5V ± 10%;
5. Flexible parallel interface, the use of EOC pulse can work independently;
6. 20-pin ultra-thin tight small package (TSSOP), easy to design and save PCB space.
In summary, the GXSC ADC GX7822 is suitable for semiconductor laser applications.
