ADCs are often used to simplify complex A/D conversion designs in instrumentation, industrial, and healthcare applications, where high-precision analog-to-digital conversion enables accurate measurement and processing of signals to provide reliable data to support the instrument.
GXSC a high-precision 16-bit ADC can be used to replace the ADS1240 in instrumentation, which provides many integrated functions to reduce system cost and component count in applications that measure signals from small sensors. The ADC application advantages are characterized as follows:

1, the device has a low noise programmable gain amplifier, two programmable excitation current source, a reference voltage source, an oscillator, a low-end switch and a precision temperature sensor.
2, it can perform conversion of the data rate up to 3.7kSPS, in ≤ 20SPS when the digital filter can provide 50Hz or 60Hz suppression of noise in industrial applications, can provide more accurate measurement results.
3, the device‘s internal PGA provides up to 128V / V gain, ideal for measuring small sensor signal applications such as resistance temperature detector (RTD), thermocouples, thermistors and resistance bridge sensors.
4, Dual matched programmable current source: 10 μA ~ 1.5 mA; internal 2.048V reference voltage: 8 ppm/°C (typical) drift.
5, supports flexible SPI-compatible interfaces in lead-free QFN-16 or TSSOP-16 packages with a temperature range of 40°C to +125°C.
