Single-channel 14-bit ADC GX2245 replaces LTC2245 in portable instruments

Time:2024-07-11 Views:541
In industrial production, portable instruments are ubiquitous, such as portable infrared spectrometers, portable pH meters, thermometers, etc. can be used to monitor objects or environmental data, and the acquisition of such data requires the use of high-precision, low-power ADCs, and the small size helps to reduce the overall size and weight of the portable instruments, making them more portable.

GXSC GX2245 is a single-channel 14-bit 80/65/40/25/10MSPS ADC, can completely replace the LTC2245 for portable instruments, the chip uses a multi-stage differential pipeline architecture, built-in high-performance sample-and-hold circuitry and an on-chip reference voltage source, using a 3V analog power supply power supply, a separate output power supply to drive 0.5V to 3.6V logic circuits, designed for digital high-performance logic circuits. V logic circuits, designed for digitizing high-frequency wide dynamic range signals.
1, GX2245 high-resolution and high-speed sampling: 14-bit resolution can provide a finer data acquisition, 80MSps sampling rate can quickly capture dynamic signals, to meet the portable instrumentation requirements for real-time.
2, GX2245 built-in reference voltage source: simplifies the circuit design, reduces the number of external components, is conducive to reducing the size of the instrument.
3, GX2245 good linearity and dynamic performance: to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the collected data.
4, GX2245‘s low-power characteristics help to extend the battery life of wireless devices to improve their reliability in portable and mobile applications, 10Msps power consumption is only 60mW.
5, GX2245 using QFN-32 5mm × 5mm small package, for compact layout is extremely favorable, can reduce design complexity, suitable for use in portable instruments.
