GX9208 Replaces AD9208 for Electronic Countermeasures, Supports Direct RF Signal Sampling up to 5GHz

Time:2025-03-21 Views:241
Electronic countermeasures mainly utilize electronic technology and electromagnetic wave technology, and the solution system mainly consists of five parts: RF front-end, digital processing, clock, battery and system power supply, and signal production, among which, the analog front-end module‘s AD conversion can be used with GX9208, which supports communication Applications, can achieve up to 5GHz wide bandwidth analog signal direct sampling; optimized in many ways, including wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity and low power consumption in a small package. The GX9208 can be used as a performance replacement for the AD9208.

The GX9208 is a dual-channel, 14-bit, 3GSPS ADC with an on-chip buffer and sample-and-hold circuitry designed for low power consumption, small size and ease of use. The dual-channel ADC core utilizes a multi-stage, differential pipeline architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC features wide bandwidth inputs. An integrated reference voltage source simplifies design considerations. The analog inputs and clock signals are differential.
In addition to fast detection of outputs, the GX9208 has signal monitoring capability. The signal monitoring module provides additional information on the signals digitized by the ADC. The high speed serial outputs of the JESD204B (subclass 1) can be set to a variety of single, dual, quad, and octal configurations, depending on the acceptable channel rate of the receiving logic device. The SYSREF+ and SYNCINB+ input pins support multi-chip synchronization.

The GX9208 has a flexible shutdown option that can significantly reduce power consumption when needed. All of these features are programmable via a three-wire serial interface (SPI). Available in a 196-pin BGA package, it is rated over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
