Compatible with FM25V20A, ferroelectric memory GX85RS2MC can be used in wind energy system

Time:2025-03-21 Views:232
In wind energy applications, ferroelectric memory can be used to store relevant data. For example, some monitoring devices need to record data such as wind speed, wind direction, and power in real time, and not lose the data in the event of power loss or other abnormal conditions. The non-volatile, high-speed read/write, and low-power features of ferroelectric memories enable them to meet these needs.

Compared with other ordinary memories, ferroelectric memory is non-volatile and can quickly save the stored information even after a power failure, which is more advantageous than SRAM that requires a backup battery (environmentally friendly and no need to detect the battery status, and also saves space and cost); in terms of speed, it writes fast, can be overwritten like SRAM, and has no waiting time, and in terms of power consumption, FRAM is also far lower than EEPROM.
Ferroelectric Memory GX85RS2MC core technology is the ferroelectric process and silicon gate CMOS process technology to form a non-volatile memory cell, which does not require batteries to maintain data, it operates at a voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V, with a minimum standby power consumption of only 9 microamps, which can instantly save data at low current to ensure information security in the system.

Introduction of GX85RS2MC:
1. The memory cell of GX85RS2MC can be used for 1E6 read/write operations*1, data retention: 10 years @ 85°C (200 years @ 25°C), and data will not be lost when the microcontroller is powered down.
2, GX85RS2MC maximum power consumption is 5mA, standby current is only 7μA, can effectively reduce the power consumption of microcontroller.
3, GX85RS2MC supports SPI serial interface, maximum 25MHz operating frequency, can meet the microcontroller chip fast communication needs.
4, GX85RS2MC working environment temperature range is -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, in line with the industrial environment applications.
5, GX85RS2MC adopts SOP8 small package, which saves PCB board design space and facilitates layout.
6, GX85RS2MC performance is compatible with MB85RS2MT (Fujitsu) and FM25V20A (Cypress);
