ADC can be used in servo motor control to achieve position control and speed control by converting analog signals from the future self-contained encoder to digital signals for processing and precise position control by microcontrollers or digital controllers. Accurate analog-to-digital conversion helps to achieve higher positional accuracy and reduce positional errors.
In speed control, the ADC converts the speed generator signal to a digital value, enabling the control system to monitor and adjust the motor speed in real time. This article focuses on the application of ADC GX7606 in servo motor control, and GX7606 performance is fully compatible with AD7606

GX7606 (compatible with AD7606) for a 16-bit 8-channel synchronous sampling ADC, the device also integrates a digital filter, 3.5ppm / ℃ low-drift 2.5V precision reference voltage source and 4.5V reference voltage buffer, each channel is built-in analog input clamping protection, analog filter, programmable gain amplifier.
Powered by a single 5V power supply, the GX7606 offers throughput rates up to 200kSPS for all eight channels, supports ±10V and ±5V true bipolar input ranges, 1MΩ analog input impedance, and analog input clamping protection for voltages up to ±30V with an ESD rating of up to 8kV. For applications requiring lower throughput rates, the GX7606‘s built-in oversampling mode and flexible digital filters can be used to improve noise performance.
