GX85RS2MC (MB85RS2MT) for ultra-low-power secure microcontroller field

Time:2024-11-12 Views:599
Embedded ferroelectric memory enables the design of ultra-low-power microcontrollers. Adding ferroelectric memory to a microcontroller enables fast and reliable non-volatile data storage and processing, and is ideal for storing system status, data logging, and non-volatility in a wide range of applications, such as sensors and metering instrumentation to industrial control, instrumentation, and medical device applications.

Embedded FRAM enables the design of ultra-low power microcontrollers. Adding FRAM to a microcontroller enables fast and reliable non-volatile data storage and processing, ideal for storing system status, data logging and non-volatility in a wide range of applications, such as sensors and metering to industrial control, instrumentation and medical equipment.
Advantages of GXSC FRAM GX85RS2MC in microcontrollers:
1. The memory cell can be used for 1E6 read/write operations*1, data retention: 10 years @ 85°C (200 years @ 25°C), and no data loss when the microcontroller is powered down.
2. It is made by ferroelectric process and silicon gate CMOS process technology, the chip does not need battery to keep the data and can improve the security of data.
3. The maximum power consumption is 5mA and the standby current is only 7μA, which can effectively reduce the power consumption of the microcontroller.
4. Support SPI serial interface, maximum 25MHz operating frequency, can meet the microcontroller chip fast communication needs.
5. Operating ambient temperature range is -40℃ to 85℃, in line with the industrial environment applications.
6. Adopting SOP8 small package saves PCB board design space and facilitates layout.
7. GX85RS2MC performance is compatible with Fujitsu‘s MB85RS2MT.
