Voice is an important medium used for information exchange, and with the development of artificial intelligence technology, voice has also become an important tool for communication between humans and machines. The ability to obtain clear voice signals and the location of voice signals in, for example, intelligent conference systems and in-vehicle voice systems, is the key to determining the performance of the system.
The traditional single microphone voice acquisition system in complex environments, noise elimination, sound localization is not satisfactory, better performance microphone array technology came into being. Microphone arrays can make full use of the spatial and temporal information of multiple input signals for voice enhancement or voice localization. This paper introduces a practical multi-channel high-speed multiplexed synchronous acquisition ADC microphone array system, in which the ADC is 16-bit, 200kSPS, eight-channel GX7606 (compatible with AD7606).

In order to apply microphone array processing to achieve speech localization and microphone array voice enhancement, eight-channel GX7606 can meet the simultaneous acquisition and processing of multiple microphone signals, which uses a single 5V power supply, all eight channels of the throughput rate of up to 200kSPS, support for ± 10V and ± 5V true bipolar input range, with a 1MΩ analog input impedance, the input clamp protection can be The GX7606 features a 1MΩ analog input impedance, input clamping protection for voltages up to ±30V, and an ESD rating of up to 8kV. For applications requiring lower throughput rates, the GX7606‘s built-in oversampling mode and flexible digital filters can be used to improve noise performance.
