Intelligent transmitters consist of a sensor, a signal conditioning and conversion circuit, and a microprocessor. The integrated signal conditioning and conversion circuits enable excitation and precision acquisition of the sensor, while the internal microprocessor realizes correction and compensation of the sensor signals and converts the output signals into standard signals that can be accepted by the controller or measuring instrument. Intelligent transmitters often also support digital communication, in the realization of the measurement at the same time to complete the transmission of control signals.
GXSC 12/6-channel analog-to-digital converter GX1248 with high-precision, highly integrated product architecture, can be a single chip to support thermocouple temperature measurement and RTD or NTC and other cold-end compensation, but also can be used individually for any type of RTD (2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire), the GX1248 can be compatible with the hardware and software of ADS1248, and can be a direct in-situ replacement.

GX1248 application advantages are described below:
1, the ADC includes many integrated features with low noise, programmable gain amplifier, with a single-cycle stabilization of digital filters and internal oscillator.
2, provides a built-in low-drift voltage reference and two matched programmable excitation current sources (IDAC). The input multiplexer supports four differential inputs.
3, The multiplexer integrates sensor loss detection, thermocouple voltage bias, system monitoring and general-purpose digital V / os. The PGA provides selectable gain up to 128V/V.
4, up to 8 / 4 single-ended / differential channels, internal reference: 8ppm / c and 0.05% accuracy, at 5/10/20SPS data rate at the same time to suppress 50Hz and 60Hz
5, analog power supply: unipolar (2.7V to 5.25V) and bipolar (±2.5V) operation, digital power supply: 2.7V to 5.25V 6, SPI interface: communicate with microcontrollers or other digital devices through the SPI interface for easy data transfer and control.
