Compatible with ADS1248, GX1248 for RTD/TC Temperature Acquisition Modules

Time:2024-08-08 Views:489
Distributed I/O temperature acquisition modules are used for industrial field instrumentation, usually using thermocouples and RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) as temperature sensors. Thermocouples have a very high temperature measurement range (e.g., 2300°C) and fast response speeds, while RTDs have higher temperature measurement accuracy and stability.

GX1248 with high precision and high integration product architecture, can be a single chip to support thermocouple temperature measurement and RTD or NTC and other cold end compensation methods, can also be used alone for any type of RTD (2-wire, 3-wire or 4-wire), GX1248 can be software and hardware compatible with the ADS1248, or can be a direct replacement of the in-situ. the RTD/TC temperature acquisition module diagram is as follows:
GX1248 performance introduction:
1, the ADC includes many integrated features with low noise, programmable gain amplifiers, with a single-cycle stabilizing digital filter and internal oscillator.
2, provides a built-in low-drift voltage reference and two matched programmable excitation current sources (IDAC). The input multiplexer supports four differential inputs.
3, The multiplexer integrates sensor loss detection, thermocouple voltage bias, system monitoring and general-purpose digital V/os. The PGA provides selectable gain up to 128V/V.
4, up to 8 / 4 single-ended / differential channels, internal reference: 8ppm / c and 0.05% accuracy, at 5/10/20SPS data rate at the same time to suppress 50Hz and 60Hz
5, analog power supply: unipolar (2.7V to 5.25V) and bipolar (± 2.5V) operation, digital power supply: 2.7V to 5.25V
6, SPI interface: communicate with microcontroller or other digital devices through SPI interface for easy data transmission and control.
