GXSC GX9208 Replaces AD9208 for High-Speed Acquisition Circuits

Digital receivers play an important role in synthetic aperture radar (SAR), radio communication, and instrumentation. With the development of the electronics industry, digital receivers on the sampling rate, analog signal input bandwidth and resolution requirements are increasingly high, so the design of the analog-to-digital conversion circuit requirements are more stringent.

GX9208 is a dual-channel, 14-bit, 3GSPS ADC, the device has a built-in on-chip buffer and sample-and-hold circuitry, specifically designed for low power consumption, small size and ease of use. Designed to support communication applications, it enables direct sampling of wide bandwidth analog signals up to 5GHz. In addition, the ADC is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and low power consumption in a small package.
 
The GX9208 dual-channel ADC core utilizes a multi-stage, differential pipeline architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC has wide bandwidth inputs. An integrated reference voltage source simplifies design considerations. The analog inputs and clock signals are differential.
