Bioelectrical Potential Measurement Analog Front-End Chip for Medical Devices GX2946

Time:2024-07-10 Views:551
Bioelectric signals contain important information about the body, brain and muscle activity, among other things, and the Bioelectric Measurement Front-End Analog Chip is an integrated circuit chip specifically designed to measure and capture bioelectric signals. Bioelectric measurement front-end analog chips amplify, filter and convert weak bioelectric signals into digital signals through a combination of components that work together to facilitate subsequent data processing, analysis and storage. Therefore, it has a wide range of applications in the fields of medical treatment, health monitoring and scientific research.

The GX2946 integrates all the features of a portable, low-power ECG application with a built-in 2-channel, 24-bit Delta-Sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), an internal reference and an oscillator. Suitable for medical devices (ECG) including: patient monitoring: ambulatory ECG, activity, stress test and vital signs including ECG, AED and telemedicine, sports and fitness: heartbeat, respiration, ECG and other high precision data sampling.

The GX2946 has a flexible input multiplexer that can be independently connected to internally generated test signals, temperature detection and wire break detection. Users have the flexibility to configure the built-in right-leg drive circuitry between the two channels and can choose whether to use pull-up/down currents at the electrode ports for wire-break detection. The GX2946 also supports respiration detection with an output data rate of up to 16 KSPS.

The GX2946 application advantages are described:
- Power consumption: 340μW/channel
- Input reference noise: 8μVPP (150Hz BW, G=6)
- Input bias current: 200pA
- Data rate: 125SPS to 16kSPS
- Programmable Gain: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 64, 96
- Oscillator initial accuracy: ± 0.5% (25 ℃); temperature drift ± 1% (-40 ℃ ~ 85 ℃)
- Built-in right leg drive amplifier, lead detection and test signals, built-in respiratory detection circuitry
- Low-power mode and standby mode flexible conversion, SPI-compatible serial interface
