Optical communication is the use of optical fiber as a transmission medium, the information will be transmitted through the optical signal in the optical fiber, i.e., fiber to circuit, circuit to fiber signal conversion, the role of signal transmission, HDMI Optical Terminal is the optical signal transmission terminal equipment, mainly by the optical transceiver diode, optical signal amplification circuits, clock recovery circuits, synchronization circuits, PCM coding and decoding circuits as well as drive circuits and other components.

Optical signal amplification circuit often need to use high-speed op-amps, engineers usually choose to use foreign ADI and other mainstream devices, this paper recommends the GXSC single-channel ultra-high-speed current feedback amplifier GX8009, bandwidth as high as 1GHz, compatible with the performance of AD8009.
GX8009 advantageous features:
1. ultra-high speed, pressure swing rate up to 5,500V/µs, rise time is only 545ps, high pressure swing rate can reduce the pressure swing rate limiting effect, so that the large signal bandwidth up to 440MHz, the small signal bandwidth up to 1GHz, so as to meet the needs of high-resolution video graphics system.

2. High output drive capability, can provide more than 175mA load current, drive four rear terminated video loads; able to provide 10dBm output power (70MHz), no spurious dynamic range (SFDR) of -38dBc

3. Low distortion over a wide bandwidth, enabling signal quality to be maintained at a high level over the entire wide bandwidth range

4. Able to provide more than 175mA load current. When driving four video loads, it can achieve low differential gain and phase error (0.02% and 0.04°, respectively).

5. High drive capability is also reflected in its ability to provide 10dBm of output power, when the frequency of 70MHz when the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) of about -38dBc.

6. Available in small SOIC-8 and SOT23-5 packages, with operating temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 85℃.
