GXSC ADC GX7793 Compatible with ADI AD7793 for Outdoor Power Supplies

In portable instruments such as outdoor power supplies, analogue-to-digital converters are often needed for signal conversion, and among them, ADI‘s AD7793 is widely used. A customer is currently seeking an ADC replacement in order to reduce BOM costs.

GX7793 is a suitable for high-precision measurement applications of low-power, low-noise, complete analogue front-end, built-in a low-noise 24-bit sigma - Δ type ADC. GX7793 2.7V to 5.25V power supply, which contains three differential analogue inputs, but also integrated on-chip low-noise instrumentation amplifier, and thus can be a direct input of small signals. GX7793 has TSSOP16 package, can pin to pin alternative to the ADC. The GX7793 is available in a TSSOP16 package and can be used as a pin-to-pin replacement for the AD7793.

GX7793 and AD7793 comparison:

1, GX7793 and AD7793, in the supply voltage, data resolution, input channels, the same, can be replaced;

2, programmable data transfer rate: AD7793 update rate of 4.17Hz ~ 470Hz, GX7793 update rate of 4.17Hz ~ 940Hz, faster than AD7793, higher precision;

3, GX7793 can completely replace the AD7793 in performance, both packages are basically the same.

4, GX7793 cost is more advantageous, compared to ADI‘s AD7793, the use of GX7793 can be reduced by at least 20% to 30%, the device is an emerging outdoor power products in the digital-to-analogue conversion of excellent solutions.
