GXSC ADC GX2245 Compatible with LTC2245 for Ultrasound Imaging Systems

Time:2024-03-20 Views:787
The use of ultrasound imaging in medicine has brought great convenience in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Power consumption is a key consideration in portable ultrasound systems, from the front-end of the signal path, through the mid-range to the back-end processing. Low power consumption means lower battery power provides longer runtime.

The GXSC GX2245 (compatible with the LTC2245) is a 14-bit 10MSPS, low-power 3V single-supply ADC for digitizing high-frequency, wide dynamic range signals. The single-supply 3V power supply supports low-power operation, and a separate output power supply supports output drive from 0.5V to 3.3V.
The received signal magnitude of the ultrasonic transmitter may vary from 10uVPP to 1VPP. The smaller the signal that can be detected, the higher the sensitivity of the system. Both input equivalent current and input equivalent voltage noise affect system sensitivity.

Ideally suited for demanding imaging and communications applications, the GX2245 (LTC2245-compatible) features AC performance including a 73dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 88dB spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) in the Nyquist domain. DC performance includes ±1LSB INL (typical), ±0.5LSB DNL (typical) and full temperature range without loss of code with conversion noise as low as 1.3LSBRMS.

GX2245 (LTC2245 compatible) Key Performance:
-Low power consumption: 60mW;
-Sampling rate: 10MSPS;
-Single supply 3V power (2.85V to 3.4V);
-575MHz full power bandwidth;
-clock duty cycle stabilizer;
-Shutdown and NAP modes;
