40W AC/DC chip CN1001 and high current motor drive chip CN8033

Time:2023-12-15 Views:1162
Smart meters undertake the task of collecting, measuring, and transmitting raw energy data, and are the foundation for achieving information integration, analysis optimization, and information display. They play an important supporting role in achieving informatization, automation, and interactivity in the power grid. This article mainly introduces two AC/DC chips, CN1001, that meet the power requirements of 40W for IoT meters and CN8033, which are high current motor drive chips.
The performance characteristics of the AC/DC chip CN1001 are as follows:
Guoxin Sichen CN1001 is an AC/DC converter suitable for wide voltage input, high performance, and ultra-low standby power consumption. The chip integrates a PWM controller and a 900V power transistor, which adopts high-voltage startup to achieve ultra-low standby power consumption. The chip adopts PWM/PFM/PSM hybrid modulation technology to ensure optimal system efficiency across the full load range, and also integrates jitter technology to simplify system EMI design.

CN1001 provides extremely comprehensive protection functions, including cycle by cycle overcurrent protection, CS resistance short circuit protection, VDD overvoltage protection, overload protection, output short circuit protection, feedback open circuit protection, and over temperature protection. It also has anti strong magnetic interference function, which can ensure stable output of the power system in strong magnetic environments. This chip is widely used in fields such as smart meters and low-power instrument switching power supplies.
The performance characteristics of the high current motor drive chip CN8033 are as follows:
Guoxin Sichen CN8033 is an H-bridge motor driver used to drive reversible motors, which can drive a DC motor, a stepper motor winding, or other loads. CN8033 operates at a motor power supply voltage of 4V to 24V, and according to logic control, it can provide an output current of up to 1.5A (ESOP-8) or 0.65A (SOT23-6). With 3.5A current limiting protection.

The working principle of CN8033 is controlled by two input pins. Two on/off inputs determine the output mode: forward, backward, inertial parking, or braking. When both inputs are at low levels, a very low standby circuit current can be achieved. In addition, CN8033 can provide SOT23-6, SOP-8, or ESOP-8 packaging to meet different circuit board designs in different scenarios. At present, the chip has been widely used in related fields such as smart circuit breakers, smart locks, and smart water/gas meters.
