24-bit analog-to-digital converter GX131E0X replaces ADS131E0X battery test system solution

Time:2025-04-23 Views:350
Battery testing system is mainly used for lithium battery functionality, safety and reliability testing, including lithium battery charging and discharging testing, BMS testing, lithium battery EOL testing and working condition simulation testing. Thanks to the booming development of new energy vehicle market and the wide application of energy storage technology, the demand for battery testing system puts forward higher demand, and analog-to-digital converter is the battery test equipment is more core components, this article mainly introduces the GX131E0X to replace the ADS131E0X series in the battery test system solutions.

GX131E0X multi-channel synchronous sampling 24-bit Δ-Σ analog-to-digital converter built-in programmable gain amplifier, internal reference and on-board oscillator. With the ADC‘s wide dynamic range, scalable data rate, and internal fault detection monitor meter, it is favored for industrial power monitoring and protection as well as test and measurement applications. The true high impedance inputs support this home-grown analog-to-digital converter to be connected directly to a resistive voltage divider network or voltage transformer to measure line voltage or to a current transformer or Rogowski coil to measure current. The GX131E0X‘s high level of integration and outstanding performance creates a scalable industrial power supply system with reduced size, power consumption, and overall cost.
The GX131E0X has a flexible input multiplexer on each channel that is independently connected to internally generated signals for test, temperature and fault detection. Fault detection can be performed within the device using an integrated comparator with trigger levels controlled by a digital-to-analog converter.
