ADC GX2372 Replaces MAX1302/MAX1300 and LTC2372

Time:2025-03-14 Views:274
The GX2372 is an 8-channel, 16-bit, SAR analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a single VDD power supply. The GX2372 incorporates all of the components required for a multi-channel, low-power data acquisition system, including a lossless 16-bit SAR ADC, low crosstalk 8-channel multiplexer, low-drift 4.096V reference and buffer, temperature sensor, selectable unipolar filter, and a sequence generator for sequential continuous scan channels.

The GX2372 utilizes an SPI interface to read and write to the configuration registers. The SPI interface is powered by a separate VIO supply. The GX2372 is packaged in a QFN-20 package and operates from -40°C to +125°C. The GX2372 is also available with a single VIO power supply.
GX2372 main performance:
1, resolution: 16-bit, 8-channel multiplexer, input selectable, unipolar single-ended inputs, differential inputs (using reference ground), pseudo-bipolar inputs, fully differential inputs
2、Sampling rate: 500kSPS; SNR: 90.8dB@1kHz, 90.1dB@20kHz
3, analog input range: 0V to VREF (VREF up to VDD)
4, a variety of reference source types: internal 4.096 V reference source, external buffer reference source (up to 4.096 V), external reference source (up to VDD)
5, built-in temperature sensor, built-in channel sequencer, optional unipolar filter, busy indication
6, power supply voltage: single supply 5V, logic interface voltage: 1.8V to 5V
7, serial interface, compatible with SPI, MICROWIRE, QSPI and DSP
8, power consumption: 8.3mW @ 500kSPS, 1.8μW @ 100SPS, standby current: 23 nA
9、Support 4mm×4mm QFN-20 package

GX2372 application scenarios: battery-powered devices, medical devices: ECG/EKG, personal digital assistants, power line monitoring, data acquisition, instrumentation, process control
