Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a digital electronic device with a microprocessor, is used as a digital logic controller for automation control. A programmable controller consists of a CPU module, a digital IO module, an analog IO module, a power supply module, an expansion module, etc. PLCs can receive (input) and send (output) many types of electrical or electronic signals and use them to control or supervise virtually any kind of mechanical and electrical system.
When selecting an analog-to-digital converter for a PLC, there are a number of performance indicators that need to be considered, such as resolution, conversion error, conversion rate, etc. GXSC‘s 24-bit, 2KSPS-rate GX1248 meets the above requirements, and the ADC can be compatible with the ADS1248 in hardware and software, as well as being a direct in-situ replacement.

GX1248 performance introduction:
1, the ADC includes many integrated features, with low noise, programmable gain amplifier, with a single-cycle stabilized digital filter and internal oscillator.
2, provides a built-in low-drift voltage reference and two matched programmable excitation current sources (IDAC). The input multiplexer supports four differential inputs.
3, The multiplexer integrates sensor loss detection, thermocouple voltage bias, system monitoring and general-purpose digital V/os. The PGA provides selectable gain up to 128V/V.
4, up to 8 / 4 single-ended / differential channels, internal reference: 8ppm / c and 0.05% accuracy, at 5/10/20SPS data rate at the same time to suppress 50Hz and 60Hz
5, analog power supply: unipolar (2.7V to 5.25V) and bipolar (± 2.5V) operation, digital power supply: 2.7V to 5.25V
6, SPI interface: communicate with microcontroller or other digital devices through SPI interface for easy data transmission and control.
