ADC GX9208 Widely Used in Electronic Test and Measurement Systems, Replaces ADI AD9208

Time:2025-02-18 Views:347
In electronic test and measurement systems, signal generators are commonly used in electronic tests to generate various types of signals, such as sine waves, square waves, triangular waves, and so on. In the performance test of the signal generator, it is necessary to accurately measure the frequency, amplitude, phase and other parameters of its output signal. Analog-to-digital converters can quickly and accurately acquire the output signals of signal generators and convert them into digital signals, becoming a powerful assistant in electronic test and measurement systems.
The GX9208 is a dual-channel, 14-bit, 3GSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC). With a built-in on-chip buffer and sample-and-hold circuitry, the device is designed for low power consumption, small size and ease of use. Designed to support communications applications and enable direct sampling of wide bandwidth analog signals up to 5 GHz, the GX9208 is optimized for wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and low power consumption in a small package.
The dual-channel ADC core utilizes a multi-stage, differential pipeline architecture with integrated output error correction logic. Each ADC has a wide bandwidth input. An integrated reference voltage source simplifies design considerations. The analog inputs and clock signals are differential.

GX9208 Product Features:
- Supports direct radio frequency (RF) signal sampling at approximately 5 GHz.
- SPI control of various product features and functions to meet specific system requirements.
- Programmable fast over-range detection and signal monitoring.
- 196-ball BGA package (12mmx12mm) eliminates the need for a heat sink.
