Analog-to-digital converter GX2245 for portable instrument smart antenna system, replacing LTC2245

Portable instrument smart antenna system is a kind of smart antenna technology applied to portable instrument system, which integrates antenna technology, signal processing technology, intelligent control technology, etc. The smart antenna system needs to accurately collect various kinds of weak signals received for subsequent processing and analysis. This paper recommends the use of ADC GX2245 to replace LTC2245 for this program, GX2245 has 14-bit resolution, which can provide finer data acquisition and help to improve the smart antenna system‘s ability to sense and recognize signals.

GX2245 has a high-speed sampling capability, up to 80MSPS sampling rate, can quickly capture dynamic signals, to meet the portable instrumentation smart antenna system for real-time requirements. For example, in the acquisition of fast-changing wireless communication signals, it can obtain the instantaneous value of the signal in time to ensure that the system can respond quickly to the changes in the signal, and meet some application scenarios that require real-time monitoring and processing of high-speed signals.

1, GX2245 is a single-channel 14-bit analog-to-digital converter, is the use of multi-stage differential pipeline architecture, sampling rate of 80MSPS/65MSPS/40MSPS/25MSPS/10MSPS optional.

2, GX2245 built-in high-performance sample-and-hold circuit and on-chip reference voltage source, using 3V analog power supply, a separate output power supply can drive 2.1V to 3.6V logic circuit.

3, GX2245 in 80MHz sampling with 72.8dB signal-to-noise ratio and 85dB of spurious dynamic range, can be used for input signals far beyond the Nyquist frequency.

4, GX2245 DC specifications include ±1LSB INL (typical), ±0.25LSB DNL (typical) and no leakage code. The reference noise at the input is very low at 0.96 LSBRMS.
