Replace ES8311, audio codec chip GX8311 in the car recorder application

Time:2024-12-02 Views:477
While recording video, the car recorder needs to synchronize the recording of sound in order to more comprehensively record all kinds of information during the driving process. The analog-to-digital converter in the audio codec chip GX8311 has 24-bit precision and a sampling frequency of 8 to 96kHz, which can accurately convert the analog audio signal captured by the microphone into a digital signal, thus realizing high-quality audio recording.
Some car recorders have audio playback functions, such as playing back recorded video while playing sound, the digital-to-analog converter in the audio codec chip GX8311 also has 24-bit precision and a sampling frequency of 8 to 96kHz, which can accurately convert stored digital audio signals into analog signals and drive the speakers to play back clear sound after amplification by an audio power amplifier.
The low-power mono audio codec, GX8311, which features a fully differential output supports programmable analog inputs in a fully differential configuration, and the recording path contains a fully differential input, low-noise programmable gain amplifier and automatic gain control (ALC). Noise is eliminated during the recording process by built-in programmable filters. The playback path includes a mono DAC, programmable volume control and fully differential outputs. The GX8311 is also PIN TO PIN compatible with the ES8311.
GX8311 main performance is introduced:
1, the system: high-performance low-power 24-bit delta-sigma audio ADC and DAC, I2S/PCM master serial or slave serial data port, 256/384Fs, USB 12/24MHz and other non-standard audio system clock, and I2C interface.
2, ADC: 24-bit, 8 to 96kHz sampling frequency, 95dB signal-to-noise ratio, -93dB THD + N, a pair of differential analog inputs, low-noise programmable gain amplifiers, automatic level control (ALC) and noise gate, support for analog and digital microphones.
3, DAC: 24-bit, 8 to 96kHz sampling frequency, 95dB signal-to-noise ratio, -85dB THD + N, a pair of differential analog outputs, dynamic range compression, pop and click noise suppression
4, low power consumption: 1.8V to 3.3V operating voltage, low standby current
