As we all know, in the field of industrial process control, accurate data acquisition and processing can ensure the stability, efficiency and quality issues of the system. Such as industrial production, power monitoring, process control, etc. Analog-to-digital converters work in concert with other components such as controllers, actuators, etc., to achieve accurate monitoring and control of the production process, optimize the production process, improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the safety and reliability of the production process. This paper focuses on the application of GX7699 analog-to-digital converter chip to replace AD7699 in industrial process control.
GX7699 has a high resolution and high precision features, can be process control in the industrial field of a variety of analog signals for extremely fine measurement and conversion. Whether it is pressure, temperature, flow or liquid level and other key parameters, it can provide accurate and reliable digital output, providing precise feedback information for the control system.

The GX7699 has all the components needed for a multi-channel, low-power data acquisition system, including a lossless 16-bit SAR ADC, low crosstalk 8-channel multiplexer, low-drift 4.096V reference and buffer, temperature sensors, selectable unipolar filters, and sequence generator for sequentially sweeping the channels in a continuous sequence. The GX7699 uses an SPI interface to read and write to the configuration registers. The SPI interface is powered from a separate VIO supply and operates at temperatures from -40°C to +125°C.
The good linearity and stability of the analog-to-digital converter guarantees accurate and reliable measurement results over long periods of operation. This is a key factor in ensuring productivity and safety for process control systems that require continuous and stable operation. Its main features are as follows:
1、Resolution: 16 bits, sampling rate: 500kSPS
2, 8-channel multiplexer, inputs can be selected: unipolar single-ended input, differential input (using reference ground), pseudo-bipolar input, full differential inputs
3, SNR: 90.8dB @ 1kHz, VREF = 4.096V; 90.1dB @ 20kHz, VREF = 4.096V
4, analog input range: 0V to VREF (VREF up to VDD)
5, built-in channel sequencer, optional unipolar filter, busy indication
6, power supply voltage: single supply 5V; logic interface voltage: 1.8V to 5V
7, serial interface: compatible with SPI, MICROWIRE, QSPI and DSP
