The traditional harvester stand-alone structure is relatively complex, while the working environment is variable, so there are many uncontrollable factors when the harvester operation. With the continuous development of science and technology, the automatic control system as the core of the advanced harvester consists of rotational speed signal acquisition device, controller, drive system and alarm display device.

Among them, the controller is composed of controller and control program. It is used to analyze the data, judge the working condition of the harvester, and control the driving speed of the harvester. The drive system includes electronically controlled variable displacement piston pump, quantitative piston motor, gear box, drive shaft, wheel reducer and drive wheel. Controlled by a controller, the control signal is converted into the corresponding driving speed.
Hall sensor measurement method and magnetic induction measurement method are non-contact, more adaptable to harsh environments and can be realized in real-time measurement method. Hall element measurement method has a large frequency range, from DC to microwave frequency band can be measured, so the Hall element method can be selected as the speed signal acquisition method.

The GX542 is a Hall switch sensor designed based on the BCDMOS process, which is widely used in a variety of automotive-grade products, including agricultural harvesters, civilian vehicles, and commercial vehicles. The chip includes temperature compensation, comparator and output driver. In addition, mechanical stress has little effect on the magnetic parameters of the chip, making it suitable for both industrial environments and automotive applications, and it complies with the AEC-Q100 automotive electronics industry test standard.
