Replacement for MAX1302/MAX1300/LTC2372-16/LTC2372-18, GX1481 for ECG/EKG Data Acquisition System

Time:2024-09-09 Views:448
Electrocardiograms (ECG/EKG), which measure the electrical activity of the heart, require a high-precision analog front-end, post-gain filters, input drivers, references, and high-precision components in the analog-to-digital conditioning circuitry to achieve the highest possible performance, applying the 18-bit SAR ADC GX1481 to digitize the signals to achieve low power consumption.

The GX1481 is a 4-channel, fully differential, 18-bit, SAR analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a single VDD power supply. the GX1481 incorporates all of the components required for a multi-channel, low-power data acquisition system, including an 18-bit SAR ADC, low crosstalk 4-channel fully differential multiplexer, low-drift 4.096V reference and buffer, temperature sensor, selectable unipolar filter, and a sequence generator for sequential continuous scan channels.
The GX1481 uses an SPI interface to read and write to the configuration registers. The SPI interface is powered by a separate VIO supply. The GX1481 is packaged in a QFN-20 package and operates at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +125°C.This ADC is a replacement for the MAX1302/MAX1300 and the LTC2372-16/LTC2372-18.The GX1481 is designed to replace the MAX1302/MAX1300 and the LTC2372-16/LTC2372-18.
GX1481 main performance:

- Resolution: 18-bit, 4-channel fully differential input, sampling rate: 500kSPS
- SNDR: 95.3dB@1kHz
- Analog input range: VREF to VREF (VREF up to VDD)
- Multiple reference source types: internal 4.096V reference; external buffered reference (up to 4.096V); external reference (up to VDD )
- Built-in temperature sensor, built-in channel sequencer, optional unipolar filter, busy indicator
- Serial interface, compatible with SPI, MICROWIRE, QSPI, and DSP
- Supply Voltage: 5V from a single supply; Logic Interface Voltage: 1.8V to 5V
- Power consumption: 8.3mW @ 500kSPS; 1.8μW @ 100SPS
- Standby Current: 23nA
